Primary Instructor Tracy Weems
Tracy is a retired law enforcement officer with 30 years of service. He has been a Firearms
Instructor since 2006, instructing cadets in a Basic Peace Officer Academy, serving line officers
and deputies, and SWAT Officers. Tracy served as a Tactical Team Leader and SWAT
Commander with the Abilene Police Department prior to his first retirement and as the Training
Sergeant for the Burnet County Sheriff’s Office prior to his last retirement. Tracy continues to
serve on the Executive Board for the Texas Tactical Police Officers Assoc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit
dedicated to providing training to law enforcement officers across the nation.
